Abraham Farag · CEO

Abraham works with clients to help them scope out their Product Design resource needs. This includes helping large Fortune 500 companies and small investor funded start ups. For the big companies he helps to plan out product design staffing needs across multiple product lines and for the start ups he creates a support plan that often includes: quick prototypes, feasiblity studies, Cost of goods analysis etc… This helps them to secure the capital needed for full product development and manufacturing.

Previously Abraham was a Product Design lead engineer in the Product Design group at Apple. His role included leading design efforts on more than 10 products as well as coordinating mass production ramp at different contract manufacturing companies in ten different countries. Prior to that he was a mechanical engineer at IDEO Product Design and worked on the GM electric vehicle (EV1) Project. He is named on six patents, and he has contributed to and led numerous award-winning projects, some include:

  • IDSA gold award: Harmon Kardon iSub & iSticks speakers
  • D&AD Gold & Silver for Apple Optical Mouse

Abraham Farag received a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and a Masters Degree in Product Design from the Mechanical Engineering Department from Stanford University’s Joint Program in Product Design. At Stanford he was funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation to study product design. He also worked in the Stanford Smart Product Design Lab (SPDL) on various Smart Product projects.
