Laura Gingher · COO
As COO Laura is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Sparkfactor Design.
She manages the development, implementation, and improvement of the systems that make the office
run smoothly. She has the dual role of keeping our clients happy and keeping our team happy. The
buck stops with her. Laura’s primary concern is great operations and operations improvement. If
you have a need she can probably figure out how to address it.
Previously Laura was the GM of a software development company and COO of a medical device company,
and she ran two successful businesses of her own.
Laura attended San Jose State University for studies in business administration and administration
of justice. |

Operations Manager at RTI
Reconstructive Technologies, Inc. designed, developed, and manufactured medical devices for the
surgical treatment of lost or damaged skin. Laura was recommended for this position by a member
of the Board to facilitate growth and help commercialize the companies patented goals as well as
oversee the business operations and laboratory functions. |
General Manager - Oceania
Recruited by the President of this newly developed software corporation, Laura’s role as
General Manager was to set up US Operations for this new corporation. It was my responsibility
to merge two international offices with US Operation and form Corporate Headquarters in Palo Alto.
Oceania had doubled in size in thirteen months, with 3 international offices in Asia Pacific
and Northern Europe. |

COO – X-mine
X-MINE was a computational genomics company focused on delivering therapeutic targets and molecular
diagnostics to the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industries. Recruited by the CEO, my position as
Chief Operations Officer was to create and implement all business operations of the new corporation. |
